Is tipping included?
It is on a few select cruise lines (Radisson is one example). Normally, tipping is a matter of individual preference. The Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) offers the following guideline: Plan for about $3.00 per person per day for your cabin steward and dining room waiter, and about half that amount for your busboy. (A few cruise lines include tipping in the price and will so inform you.) Other shipboard personnel can be tipped for special services at your discretion. In most instances, a 15% gratuity will automatically be added to bar, beverage, wine, and deck service tabs. When making specialty food purchases, check your bill before adding an additional tip to ensure one has not already been added.
